General settings
Enabled- select Yes.Show in left column- select Yes to show search results in left column.Show in right column- select Yes to show search results in right column.
Category filter combobox
Show category filter combobox- select Yes to enable the display of combobox.Count of category levels to show- enter a number of categories to be shown in filter combobox.Categories to hide- specify the categories comma separated that will be hidden in combobox.Categories to show- specify the categories comma separated that will be shown in combobox.
Input field settings
Default test in search field- enter a text to be shown in search field as inviting.Minimal number of chars to show suggest- specify a minimal number of characters after that the suggestion will be shown.Show ajax loader icon- select Yes if you want to display loading icon.
Suggest popup
Width- define a width of suggest popup.Height- define a height of suggest popup.Text on the top of popup- enter a text to be shown at the top of search popup.Text on the bottom of popup- enter a text to be shown at the bottom of search popup.Text when nothing was found- enter a text that will be shown when no product was found.Number of products to show on ajax results- specify a number of products to be shown in search box.Show keyword suggestions in results- select Yes if you want to show keyword suggestions in search results.Show catalog categories in result- select Yes to enable a display of catalog categories in search results.Show suggested by tags in result- select Yes to show suggested by tags.Show CMS pages in result- select Yes to enable a display of CMS pages in search results.
Product display settings
Using module settings you can make a product display in search box much attractive and suitable your website design.
Show short description- select Yes to show a short product description in popup.Description length- specify a product description length.Show thumbnail- select Yes to display a product thumbnail next to a product name.Width- specify a thumbnail width.Height- specify a thumbnail height.
