Step 6 - set default transport
After you create first transport you have to set it as default so Magento can use it to send emails.
Or if you want to change your default transport.
Select menu System ➔ Configuration in Magento Admin. On left side panel select Email under section Templates Master. For option Mail Transport
set value you need.
Save config, flush cache and that is it.
