Version 1.6.17

  • Mage-OS 3.5.0 support: checkout fields no longer vanish from order emails. Mage-OS 3.5.0 refuses to render blocks whose class name contains \Block\Adminhtml\ from an email template, and the directive we documented used such a class — the block rendered an empty string with no error, so the fields silently disappeared from customer and admin emails. Added Swissup\CheckoutFields\Block\Order\View\Fields, which renders the same output and accepts the same order_id and fields_to_show parameters.
  • Email templates you already saved keep working — the old Block\Adminhtml\Order\View\Fields class stays allowed — but new and edited templates should use Block\Order\View\Fields. Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source are unaffected.
  • Fixed line breaks in multiline field values in order emails. They were escaped twice and reached the customer as literal <br /> text instead of an actual line break. Also removed a stray trailing line break after multiselect values.
